Cruise in Comfort on the Northern Dream
Where the larger cruise ships try to offer everything under the sun for their passengers, the Northern Dream is designed for a more personal, intimate view of the Alaskan Seaboard. We don’t have an onboard casino, shopping, or nightly shows. But we do have a few decks of cards, stop into small towns for scones, and our nights are filled watching the sun go down.
The Northern Dream has three staterooms for our cruises: a master stateroom and two forward staterooms. Each room is equipped with its own private bathroom, television, and DVD player. Each room has a seating area for makeup or to put a laptop, closet space, and built-in drawers.
All rooms have portholes, so the first thing you see in the morning is Alaska! Open the porthole to feel a refreshing cool breeze. Or, if it’s too refreshing, each room can control its own heating.
However, there are a few differences between the rooms. The master stateroom has a queen-sized bed and is the largest of the three rooms. Running the width of the boat and equipped with a bathtub, the master is the roomiest option and ideal for a couple celebrating an anniversary, honeymoon, or just a way to finally see Alaska.
The two forward staterooms are more appropriate for larger parties. Each room has a queen sized bed and an additional bunk overhead. The bunk is smaller than a queen bed, but larger than a standard full-sized bed. These rooms are great for families or a group of friends. The starboard stateroom has a bathtub while the port side has a shower.
