Relax Onboard
Whether you want to sit outside or get undercover, there is enough seating for everyone on the Northern Dream. The main deck has enough seating for everybody, as well as indoor seating when the weather doesn’t cooperate. But no matter the weather, there’s room for everybody.
The Northern Dream has three levels: the flybridge, main deck, and below deck. The flybridge is an enclosed area where the captain can operate the boat. The back of the main deck is open, and is where the main salon, dining salon, galley, and wheelhouse can be found. The staterooms, crew quarters, and engine rooms are below deck.
And while our communal areas can fit everyone, that doesn’t mean there aren’t opportunities for a little privacy. We limit our cruises to six guests at a time, which means there could be two guests in the main salon playing games, a few more in the flybridge with the captain, and two more on the back deck. There are a lot of places where you can be on your own.
There are a wide variety of games on board, a huge selection of books, and a large library of DVDs to take back to your room for a late night – or lazy afternoon – movie. If you want your privacy, or feel like joining the group, we have just the space for you.
No elbows on the table
What better way to recap the day’s adventures than coming together to break bread. In our dining salon, we can seat 8 people comfortably around our table as our chef prepares the food. While we stock up before each cruise, we make stops for scones during the trip and will even prepare your catch of the day.
